Horseback Riding Take a tour with your new four- legged friend along bluffs, across foothills, toward the coast, across sugar cane fields or past secluded beaches, bays and waterfalls. Tours range from 90 minutes to five hours! Hiking Take in Kaua‘i’s natural splendor with an invigorating hike. We recommend Kōke‘e State Park with over 40 miles of footpaths leading to scenic lookouts. If you’re looking for a workout, try the Kalalau Trail along Nāpali Coast for a challenging, 11-mile trek. Or, check out Kuilau and Moalepe Trailhead. You can find maps through the Department of Land and Natural Resources or the Division of State Parks. Remember: do not hike alone, and if you must, tell someone where you’re going! Do not drink water from freshwater ponds or streams and avoid entering with open cuts.
